I am currently a Masters student studying Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I just completed a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience. I joined Down to Dance of GT in my second year of college, following an interest in cognitive functioning. After experiencing the excitement and joy that comes from the relationships formed during the dance workshops, I have been a dedicated member and have helped host a series of events with the club over the years. I look forward to working with the kids once again, and being president of the GT chapter this time around!

My name is Shweta Shah! I am a Public Health Student at NSU! I have been part of Down to Dance for the past three years! I’m so passionate about serving people with disabilities and creating inclusive spaces for them! I’ve always admired how Down to Dance does that for our participants as they build confidence in their own abilities! As president of the NSU chapter, I love having the opportunity to mentor and lead volunteers at dance classes, and encourage them to continue building on our organization’s mission!
